Double Take

Double Take by Melody Carlson.
Read my reviews of other books by Melody Carlson.
Summery:Anna is being shipped off to her aunt Rachel's, who is pregnant and needs help around the house. She doesn't want to be with her"lazy" aunt, the uncontrolled children and stricter rules. While in town waiting for her uncle she meets Madison. Madison's world seems to be closing in. Her mom wants her to visit her grandmother, her dad wants her with him to look at Harvard. Her boyfriend wants her to come with him and her friend, Vivian, wants Madison on vacation with her.
She just needs a break... On some downtime she meets Anna. Can they pull off a switch? A break for both of them as well as a change. Plus Anna wants to look for her old kinda boyfriend.

Romance: A couple crushes mentioned, liking/loving someone, hugging.
Bad Romance:Madison's boyfriend wants to go further(nothing specifically...just implications) but she doesn't want to.

Language:None.

Violence:Anna's aunt Rachel has some birth pains, yelling arguing.

Other:Mention of drinking and divorce.

Time Period:Modern.

What I Thought:I really liked it! It is one of the few Christian Amish teen books around.  And it is the best book that I have read from Melody Carlson. It was a very good book!! It's also retelling of The Country Mouse And The City Mouse.

Rating & Age:5 stars. 13 up.
