Summery:A terrible trading with The Lady, The Lady...yeah the ruler of the World-Under-The-World. Generation by generation until now there has been a trading. A terrible treachery and The Lady split in two. Now the evil half is trying to get her real deal...the part she was cheated from. Can her half of the deal, the one she traded, stop it and bring her together? Romance: Between Jack and Wendy there are two kisses, cheek and lip.

Language: If you count T-rd. Otherwise none.

Violence:Bullies, stealing people's souls, kids being kidnapped....sorta. Small fist fights and two cats attack some people (and a parrot, once. This is what i Had written down...I think that the cats and the parrot went after someone...not the cats after the parrot. But I could be wrong.).

Other:Magic,

What I Thought:A great/adventure/fantasy story! It stars off confusing, but it will soon suck you in and show you a wonderfully written plot. I really enjoyed it, even if it was for younger. (10-12).

Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy

Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy by Ally Carter.
Read my review of the first book in The Gallgher Girls series.

Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy (Gallagher Girls)

Summery:It is now after Winter Break and the Gallagher Girls are ready for almost anything. Well Cammie may still be hurting from her encounter with Josh...So when she overhears her mom talking about something called Blackthorne, that is top secret...she and her friends start to investigate. Cammie could get in a little trouble for some of what she is doing to find out what in the world Blackthorne is/means. On a covert operations mission her team is tailed by guys (and not bad looking ones either). Now Cammie gets a bit more of what is going on. She couldn't guess what was coming next though...

Romance:Liking, crushes, going on a date, kissing (only once and almost another time), being a bit boy crazy, talking about guys. Running into your ex-boyfriend... kinda ex anyway.

Language:None.

Violence:Arguing/yelling, a couple small maneuvers(you know...like a spinning kick...stuff like that, but not that) and mention of wanting to hit someone.

Other:Spying, lying, some mention of underwear.

Time Period:Modern.

What I Thought:I read it an afternoon. Spies are just so interesting, as was the book. :) I really enjoyed it...though I didn't like the ending :( It was pretty clean, but there is some girl/guy stuff. Nothing bad though.

Rating & Age:4 stars. 13 up.

She learned to write and is in danger if her aunt ever finds out about her skill. Being the Pharaoh's favorite her aunt has quite a bit of power. When visiting her with her family, Neferiti learns of her aunts plans to marry her to her son,Thutmose . can she find some way out of this trap?

Romance:Maybe starting to like/love someone. forced marriage. Couple of kisses.

Language:Kinda A--. Otherwise nothing.

Violence:Some fist-fights, trying to kill someone, some killing/executions, yelling/arguing.

Other:Egyptian gods, they drink a little wine....

What I Thought:Interesting story and book.It has a lot of facts and you could learn something(beware :P). It was pretty clean and maybe a tad depressing. It was exciting though! I am going to read the second book soon. And I would also not really advise reading the series on Helen (of Troy?) The first was okay I believe but the second had some depressing and inappropriate (I thought) things in it.

Thunder Of Heaven

Thunder Of Heaven by Tim Lahaye and Craig Parshall.
Read my review of Edge Of Apocalypse.
Thunder of Heaven: A Joshua Jordan Novel (End Series, The)
Summery:A shocking attack on some planes...blowing up one. It seems the RTS(return To Sender) might not have worked. Joshua Jordan is very upset about that. Meanwhile there seems to be a mole in the government. Cal Jordan has decided to try and help out (especially after his almost death) with what his parents do for the country...but his dad (Joshua) wants to protect him and says no. Deborah Jordan was saved from breaking her neck, as she was in one of the Chicago planes that got attacked,by a Military man, Ethan,  who knew her dad and happens to really like her. There seems to be change in the air and around the corner...very much in the air!

Romance:Mention of a former girlfriend, Ethan and Deborah are attracted to each other, hugs, hands, a couple kisses.

Language:None, but the place, Hell, mentioned.

Violence:Killing, wars, bombings (terrorists acts), volcano and earthquakes killing a ton of people, torturing (not very descriptive), shooting, fights/battles.

Other:Mention of drinking, cheating on someone and smoking.

Time Period:Modern.

What I Thought:Great beginning, it slowed down in the middle area but once you get there you cannot put it down! You can see some similarities from LB (Left Behind) if you have also read that series.

Rating & Age:4 1/2 stars. 14 up.

Cliques, Hicks And Ugly Sticks

Confessions Of April Grace:Cliques, Hicks And Ugly Sticks by K.D. McCrite.
Read my review of In Front Of God And Everybody.
Summery:Well, April Grace has finally started to like Isabel St. James. Of course she still thinks she was plenty dumb to hurt herself in a car accident...but still, she is bearable. But she sure doesn't like the clique at school, the group, The Lotties, are just plain mean her Grandma is having boyfriend troubles again...this time she has to many! And April Grace is sure that there is something wrong with her Mama. Welcome back to the crazy, but totally honest, life of April Grace!

Romance: Little crushes, her Grandma having(kinda) a love triangle or someone liking her. April Grace's parents making "gooey eyes" at each other and grossing her out.

Language:None.

Violence: Yelling/arguing, peashooters, contractions or not feeling well because of the baby.

Other:Talk of pregnancy (not "bad" talk), smoking, cliques (the bad kind though even if it is an innocent clique you could still be hurting someones feelings).

Time Period:1986 (fall).

What I Thought:A funny sequel! Even though it is for younger and the MC (Main Character) is younger it is a fun and delightful book. Quirky and unique, April Grace is sure to make you laugh.

Rating & Age:4 1/2 stars. 11 up.

Swinging On A Star

Swinging On A Star by Janice Thompson.
(Weddings By Bella book two)
Read my review of Fools Rush In.

Summery:Bella has another wedding to pull off! This time it's a medieval/renaissance themed wedding. And the best man or first knight, is a movie star. Brock Benson is a huge hit in Hollywood... and everywhere else. He seems to have some interest in Bella...on her side? Well he is a movie star..but she still finds D.J. more her "type". Meanwhile D.J.'s brother is in an Opera and Bella's aunt Rosa is going to be on The Food Network...the same day as the wedding. Can they keep the cameras away from Brock and can the wedding go on without a hitch?

The Emerald Flame

The Emerald Flame by Frewin Jones.
(Warrior Princess book 3)
Read my review of Warrior Princess.
Read my review of Destiny's Path.
Read my reviews of The Faerie Path series.
Summery:After finding out that there is a traitor in their land in their last adventure and gaining more traveling companions Branwyn, Rhodri and their new recruits go to see Merion of Stones. One of the Shining Ones. She gives them a mission to get her brother from the captivity in a Saxon war camp. Along the way Branwyn defeats a warrior from another land and other gods who had come to help the Saxons. She also discovers an old enemy still lives. A dangerous mission for sure.

Romance:Mention of caring/liking someone. Or implication.

Langauge:None.

Violence:Okay, so in the battles there was a lot of gore(blood and stuff)...I wouldn't recommend it if you have  a problem with that sort of stuff. Otherwise some arguing/yelling, killing & death and some injuries.

Other:Magic of sorts, The shining ones, and other false gods.

Time Period:Our history, but a little different, somewhat medieval.

What I Thought:The 2cd was the best so far...then this one. Other than the gore...the plot was great and the characters were good and strong :) Frewin Jones is a great Fantasy writer. And she usually keeps it pretty clean.
