A Million Suns

A Million Suns by Beth Revis.
The second book in the  Across The Universe series.
A Million Suns (Across the Universe, #2)Summary:Godspeed was once fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.

It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. Everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed.

But there may be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He's finally free to act on his vision—no more Phydus, no more lies.

But when Elder learns shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a mystery that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier. Their success—or failure—will determine the fate of the 2,298 passengers aboard Godspeed. But with each step, the journey becomes more perilous, the ship more chaotic, and the love between them more impossible to fight.

Romance:Liking/loving someone, a few kisses, attraction, thinking & talking about someone.
Inappropriate romance:Implication of desire, Elder wants Amy to move to his private Keeper level. Attempted rape (remembering) and another character also remember an actual rape that resulted in a pregnancy. Mention of the season which was basically a breeding period. For humans.
Language:This was an older review and I didn't use the same system, so I'm going to give it a 2. I don't think there was to much language, even though there was some made up cuss words.
Violence:Murders, riots, injuries, assault, shooting, yelling/arguments.
Time period:Future.

My thoughts:The first book turned me off a little because I really didn't like the season. It was pretty gross and wrong. The first book was interesting and all but this one has been the one that has really hooked me onto this series. It was a bit cleaner and I really loved the ending. I thought that the plot was really well done and I enjoyed the mystery of the murders and such.  I would recommend this book to teens, I think that this is kinda  a girl series, although I think some guys would like it too. Also the ending really leaves you dying for the next book (which comes out in January) and I don't want to give anything away...but it has a really good ending. With something big. Yeah :D
My favortie character:Amy probably. I really liked her and I don't think any others really stood out as favorites.
My stars:3.9-4 (too close to call...)
Love, Sierra
