And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.
Secrets are hard to keep when your life's at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. The storm is coming. (taken from Goodreads)
My thoughts:This book has a good deal of language. Like a lot. But if you can look over that fact, the sliver of drinking and almost rape scene, this is a really good book. It has a pretty good plot, even if I guessed it pretty early on. I really liked the characters as each of the Merrick boys (Michael the oldest, Nick and Gabriel the two twins, and then the youngest Chris) were totally unique and had his own, very funny, personality. Plus....they aren't bad looking. However there isn't all too much kissing or romance, one of the guys (Hunter) is actually pretty gentlemanly. So even though there was a good deal of things that I didn't really agree on, this is a really enjoyable book and the powers are super cool as well! And I would recommend it and just almost reread it. I probably would. Probably.
Cover thoughts:Nice looking :P I like how each cover (the next two were on the back) brings forth and focuses on one guy and he becomes surrounded by his element.
My stars:3.9... Really almost 4....if only it hadn't had the language...
